Read MoreThe best microdosing from a special source of ibogaine, supporting mental clarity, well-being and emotional regulation.
We believe mannii to represent absolutely the best source of ibogaine, from trees that are over 20 years old, grown by farmers in Central Africa. Tabernanthe mannii (or the round fruited female variant of iboga) is well known to be the superior “wood” with the most beneficial healing qualities and has only been available to the world in any quantity in the last 5 years.
If you are going to microdose anything, ibogaine is the substance you should look into trying, as ibogaine is known to be something of a Swiss army knife for healing the human brain. Ibogaine has recently been receiving a lot of attention, especially in relation to treating addictions and brain injuries. However, we believe that ibogaine is perhaps most beneficial to people in lower doses as an anti-depressant, and for helping to alleviate anxiety and to assist people manage other mental health issues.
View: Mannii Brochure
Even in microdoses, ibogaine has been reported to induce a sense of internal guidance or a “voice” that helps users reflect, heal, and reset mentally. While this phenomenon—often described as the “spirit of the plant”—is deeply respected in African traditions, it has yet to be widely acknowledged in Western science.
Scientifically, ibogaine stimulates the production of BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) and GDNF (Glial Cell Line-Derived Neurotrophic Factor), essential for neuroplasticity, brain repair, and dopamine regulation. It also helps regulate cortisol levels, calm the Default Mode Network (DMN), and reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain.
Whilst full flood doses of iboga or ibogaine should generally be experienced under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals, the MANNII can be taken safely by most people, as long as they are not taking opiates.
As ibogaine is metabolized into noribogaine, its benefits often extend for days or weeks, making it a unique tool for sustained mood support and nervous system healing.
A reference table of the key pharmacological mechanisms of ibogaine and noribogaine, with direct links to peer-reviewed studies. Evidence grades: Preclinical = animal/cell data; Clinical = human data; Mechanistic = receptor/molecular binding studies.

BDNF & GDNF Upregulation
Increases neurotrophic factors that support dopaminergic neuron survival, drive neuroplasticity, and sustain long-lasting anti-addictive effects via an autocrine GDNF feedback loop in the VTA.

VMAT2 Inhibition & "Matrix Pharmacology"
Newly identified (2025): ibogaine and noribogaine inhibit vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) at sub-micromolar concentrations at individual synaptic vesicles in mouse brain, alongside a novel target OCT2. This multi-transporter "matrix" may explain the breadth of ibogaine's therapeutic effects.

Read MoreWe obtain our root bark from farmers in Central Africa, not from wild harvested material. Because of the increasing interest in Ibogaine, there are many projects to grow the plants in central Africa, though we could not claim our source is ultimately sustainable. However, due to the very small amount of root bark in one bottle (3 grams), we believe that using the plant in this way, is one of the most impactful and respectful ways to experience this plant medicine.
Our product is made by hand and we only use highest quality ethanol also made by hand only from spring water and sugar which is fermented to create a very high quality spirit. We grind up the root bark and carefully process the root bark in large crystal bowls. There are only two ingredients, the alcohol and the root bark, nothing else is added and there are no impurities in our product as it is very well filtered.
We are not big enough to justify the expense of GMP certification at this point. Our product is made the way we say it is made and sourced from only the root bark. There are slight variabilities in alkaloids and quantities. We have received quotes of $10,000 to do analysis on our product, so this kind of testing is not as straightforward as people may think.
We are using the round fruited variant, which used to be classified by the French and Belgians as a different species. In central Africa, they certainly differentiate the female and male variant, and the female round fruited variant is the more highly regarded variant, perhaps because the experience of taking it can be so smooth, whereas the eggplant fruited male variant, can result in a “turbulent” experience at times.
Both Christian Ratsch and Sun Voogelbreinder in their books, which both represent the most extensive encyclopedias of psychoactive plants, communicates of the indigenous differentiation of the round fruited and eggplant fruited variant.
Some people are looking for more clarity and resolution of an issue in their lives, which might mean an addiction to nicotine, an obsessive compulsive disorder, a feeling of ennui, perhaps they have had many health challenges or personal challenges in their lives, which they are looking for some assistance with.
Microdosing ibogaine does appear to be very effective, helping people to resolve internal issues and blockages that may be in their way, helping them to affect change and transform their orientation to life.
People can expect to have better dreams, a sense of clarity, better wellbeing and a spaciousness to resolve personal issues and get a better footing in their life.
While larger “flood” doses of iboga or ibogaine are best experienced under supervision of experienced professionals, microdosing the MANNII is an effective way to experience the healing powers of this magic plant, just by taking a few drops of MANNII under the tongue in the morning.
What you can do is to put the drops in a very hot beverage and the alcohol will largely evaporate off within a couple of minutes. But do keep in mind, the amount of alcohol in the drops is actually very little.
As arch Alchemist Steven Buhner says, you can get more alcohol in eating bread, than from alcohol based tinctures.
“The amount of alcohol in tinctures is incredibly tiny. Less than you will get from eating a few pieces of bread (yes, bread does have alcohol in it, enough to produce a breathalyzer reading of 0.05 just by itself). If you are taking 20 drops of a 60 percent alcohol tincture every hour for an acute condition, you will get about one seventeenth of an ounce of alcohol over the course of a day (less than 2ml). If you are taking a general dose (20 drops three times daily), you will be getting about one-thirtieth of an ounce every day. Again, this is less than you will get from eating two slices of bread.”
The drops are packaged in violet blue miron glass bottles, which prevent UV light from entering the bottles. But the tinctures are like any strong alcohol, they will last indefinitely and will not go bad even after many years.
We send packages via airmail, and they take between 7 days and 21 days to arrive depending on where you live in the world. You will receive tracking upon sending. We ensure you receive your package or we will resend your bottle. We never send to anywhere in the world where we have issues with customs.
Certainly, if you are taking large doses of ibogaine, of around 1000mg +, then it is wise to do that with a trained professional and have proper medical tests carried out, such as a kidney test and liver test.
However, when taking a microdosing dose, of 10mg (or ten drops) is not going to strain the body in anything like the much bigger doses.
We have found that ibogaine doesn’t contraindicate with pretty much any substance, only opiates and we do not recommend that people combine even microdosing with opiates, even in very small amounts. Wait until you have been off the opiates for at least 48 hours, and then you could take the drops.
Ibogaine appears to be much like caffeine, and so works around anything that people are taking. Even with SSRI’s, there is some scientific research which even suggests that ibogaine will synergise with SSRI’s.
